Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Save the Date: Saturday, May 11th
On May 11, postal carriers in Barrington will collect the expressions of the generosity and compassion of their postal customers. They will collect non-perishable food donations and deliver them to TAPIN to ease the hunger in the East Bay communities. Last year, TAPIN received 5,165 pounds of food, and this year we hope to do even better with the help of the generous Barrington community and TAPIN volunteers!
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Donate Food: Place a box/bag of non-perishable & NON-EXPIRED food next to your mailbox before your carrier arrives. The carrier will bring to TAPIN.
Volunteer at TAPIN: Help sort & store the donations! We need help from 11:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 2:00 to 4:10 p.m., and 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Donate desserts, snacks or drinks: To feed the carriers and volunteers.
Those who have helped in the past already know the impact that this program has. For those who haven’t had the chance to participate, we very much hope you’ll join us this year. Let us know before April 29th.
